An
idea recently came to mind for how us Queenly types can help World
Trade Center victims and rescue workers.
If each of us were
able to purchase 10-20 "waterproof tiaras" from Oriental Trading
Co., we could then start our own individual "Tiaras for the Towers"
fundraising drives, the proceeds of which will be donated to our
World Trade Center charity of choice.
How this works - each
of us buys a bunch of "waterproof tiaras" for $2.95 each, plus
shipping, and then offers them as a gift for a "suggested
contribution" amount of say, $5-$10. The money raised would then be
sent to one or more of the charities which have been listed as being
in need of donations.
